... THEN COMES THE END!

"Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power." 1 Corinthians 15:24.

The Scripture talks about the end - the end of the system. Once the Bible says it, it is certain. The end of the world will come one day at the time you do not expect. When it comes, all those things which you have achieved and which stand between you and Christ will be melted away with fervent heat. "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up" 2 peter 3:10.

Every earthly achievement or possession will be lost to the end of the system. They will be burnt away with fervent heat. What will happen to you and all your painstaking labours? You will become empty, if you don't accept Christ to your life.

Apart from the end of the world, there is another thing we should reckon with - death. Death can put an end to your existence any moment. It doesn't inform you before it knocks at your door. Therefore, be as wise as Mary who chose the needful at the expense of the perishable and transient things of this world (Luke 10:41-42).

The Day of the Lord and death spell doom to you if you trifle with your eternal life. "And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains" Revelation 6:15. This is a revelation God gave to John concerning those who pursue the earthly things at the expense of their soul. All those things they have laboured to acquire; all the positions they have maneuvered to attain, will not only become useless to them, but will be equally burdensome to them. I hope you will not be one of them.

Before the end comes, you have the opportunity to escape. That opportunity is accepting Jesus to your life. It is not a difficult task. It is as simple as confessing all your sins to the Lord and asking Him for forgiveness and forsaking them. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and repent now through prayer of faith. If you do that, you would have conquered the 'end'. "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation )" 2 Corinthians 6:2.

We warmly invite you to pray like this: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I recognize and acknowledge that I am a sinner. I now repent of all my sins. Wash me clean with your precious blood.

With my mouth, I confess you are my Lord and Saviour. I believe in my heart that you died for my sins and was raised up from the dead. Please, Lord, blot out my name from the book of death and hell. And write my name in the book of life in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

A mandate in the heart of God

“Go up into the Mountain and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honoured, says the Lord” (Haggai 1: 8, NIV)

There is a mandate in the heart of God which He wants to convey to our hearts. He longs to put this desire of His heart into our own as the people whom He loves and calls to Himself.

As we go on in life, the Lord has earmarked two things for us. He seeks to save us as His materials to be worked upon and to use us to build His house.

God has the passion and the burden to win mankind to Himself and to equally build them up for His pleasure. Building up the Body of Christ is very important and God Himself takes pleasure in it. But we must come down from the “mountain of sins” and seek God and be won to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Unless men are born again, they cannot be built up and useful to Him.

You need first and foremost, to encounter the Lord in Salvation and then the building work can rightly go on.
